Rosh Hashana ! The Jewish new year, is a fall holiday, taking place at the beginning of the month of Tishrei It is a time of celebration (Feast of Trumpets) and of serious introspection, a time to celebrate the completion of another year with all it’s blessings while also examining ones own life as we prepare for a new year and Yom Kippur in ten days. There are two calendars, a spiritual and a civil calendar that are traditionally observed by Jews. This is a special time with a pattern initiated by God in Leviticus 23 and Numbers 29 that we can certainly learn from. Read the attached article by Phillip Lester.
