New Adventures – Prayers needed !

A New Adventure Prayer Request

Following Jesus one never knows where he may lead.  He has led us, the Carrillos, thru many countries on many adventures. With our kids in tow, God has shown us life to the full. We have been very blessed, rejoicing much and suffering some. And now at the tender age of 56, Michele and I do not know what our future may be. We don’t know which city or country we will live in next year. (There are several great possibilities) We do not know wether we will keep our beautiful little home or be selling it. We don’t know if we will get to keep all our “stuff”,  we’ve grown so fond of over the last 15 years in San Diego, or leave it all behind. There are many things about the future we do not know. Its a little scary, a little terrifying and very exciting. We are walking by faith.

Michele and I do know we want to serve God and follow Jesus as passionately and wholeheartedly as ever we have before. We know we want to do everything we can to advance God’s wonderful Kingdom and help this world be a better place, especially for children. To this we offer our lives, our talents our experiences for God to use as he wills. We have prayed and in our hearts, let go all our worldly wealth and possessions. He may take it all or none of it. He may lead us into hardships or shower us with his blessings. We trust in God for he is good and his love is forever. We know this world is lost without him, We know Jesus is the way, the truth and the light.

So we ask your prayers!

# 1 that we clearly see Gods will for our future.

#2 that we have the faith, courage and love to boldly follow his will.

#3 that we are effective in our service and can truly make a difference.

#4 that we live to see a spiritual revolution spread around the world for Jesus.

Robert & Michele Carrillo

I have taken you from the ends of the earth,

summoned you from its most distant parts

and said to you, ‘You are my servant’ —

I have chosen you, not rejected you.

Don’t be afraid, for I am with you;

don’t be distressed, for I am your God.

I give you strength, I give you help,

I support you with my victorious right hand.

Isaiah 41:9-10
